Woodburn Families,
As we approach the end of the year, we want to extend our deepest thanks to our families, community volunteers, and partners. We are so fortunate to have your support. Because of you, our students have strong adult mentors, enriching after-school opportunities, access to snacks, and so much more.
We want to give a special thanks to Katie Sessa, our PTA President. She has been our fearless leader for the last two years. Under her leadership, our PTA programming has grown and further established many school traditions and experiences that have become Woodburn pillars to our students, staff, and families. We are a stronger and more connected community because of Ms. Sessa and our entire PTA executive board.
We hope you enjoy the long weekend!
Together We Grow,
Katy & Kelley

Medication cannot be sent home with your student.

FSO Arts Integration Showcase Event
On Sunday, June 9th, Woodburn will be participating in the annual FSO Arts Integration Showcase event. This features Woodburn 3rd and 4th grade student visual art and students are invited to attend an FSO concert afterwards that features music they’ve been learning about in school. This year students have been working with Rhapsody in Blue and the FSO will also premier a new piece titled Rhapsody in Red, White, and Blue. This promises to be a really fun and inspiring event and we hope you will join us. If you are interested in attending the concert, please email Ms. Ragona,chragona@fcps.edu and Mr. Kettler, jfkettler1@fcps.edu, to request tickets. These tickets are being offered for free to our Woodburn community because of our partnership with the FSO. If possible, please let us know by May 31st if you need tickets!
