DRES Families, 

All staff and families are invited to attend a virtual informational meeting on Wednesday, May 15th at 5:30 PM.  We also invite you to review this video developed by our Department of Human Resources providing an overview of the principal selection process.

The Daniels Run Principal Advisory panel will be held on Friday, May 31, 2024. We invite you to offer your individual, written input regarding the skills, experience, and leadership characteristics needed for Daniels Run Elementary School.  You might also address any challenges or issues that a new principal will need to address.  Input is confidential and will not be discussed at the meeting.  We welcome your input now, upon receipt of this letter, and are hopeful that many of you will share your thoughts using the Google form link Principal Input and Advisory Panel Interest by May 22nd.  In addition, this form also offers the opportunity to express whether you might be interested in serving as a member of the advisory panel.  Staff and community members selected to be panelists or alternates for this panel will be contacted by the Human Resources department overseeing this process.
