We will be holding elections for next year's Board and need YOUR help next school year to carry out the events and activities that enrich your student's educational experience! Whether you have an hour a week or an hour a month to volunteer, we can find the right leadership position for you! The following positions are open on our Board:
Elected Positions:

President - oversees and coordinates the Executive Board to effectively run the PTA; presides at PTA board and association meetings; serves as the official contact, communicator, and representative of the PTA

President Elect - This person will mirror the PTA President during the 2024-25 school year with intent to take on the PTA President position the following year.

Recording Secretary - takes minutes at board and association meetings; maintains and preserves PTA records and documents to pass on at the end of term
Appointed Positions:

Basketball Game Chair - works closely with the RCMS After School Activities Specialist and the LHMS PTA Basketball Chair to plan and execute the annual RCMS vs. LHMS Basketball Game event

STEAM Night Chair - arranges and coordinates a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math) event

Panther Prowl Prize Winners!
Our last in-school raffle for registered students was held today.
The Panther Time classes with the highest number of Panther Prowl registrants will receive a donut party the week after the Prowl. We’ll announce the winners next week!
This week’s raffle winners won ice cream from the Franklin Farm Baskin Robbins.

8th Grade Panthers; It’s Time to Celebrate!
Parents of all 8th graders; Your 8th Grader is invited to a Luau Party to celebrate the end of the year and graduation from 8th grade. Sign-ups are required, so please be on the lookout for an RSVP email (through Schoology or Team Newsletters). The party is at RCMS on June 7th, from 5:30-8pm. Entrance is FREE. There will be food, DJ, dancing, photo opportunities, and games.

Take a night off from cooking dinner and join us at Chipotle at 13354 Franklin Farm Rd, Herndon to show your school spirit! Show the Attached Flyer at checkout to ensure RCMS PTA is credited with the sale.
In addition to in-restaurant sales, we are now opening up our fundraisers to online sales as well. For online and Chipotle Rewards app orders, guests can apply the coupon code, “NPDKC7N” in the Coupon Code line at checkout. Ordering online is quick and easy and allows guests to skip the line by grabbing their meal at our Quick Pick-Up station or where pick-up windows are present. Please make sure you are signed into your rewards account to use this code, if you are not already a member, please sign up! This is a great option for guests who prefer to dine at home or on the go but still want to support our organization.
