Register Today for FCPS Summer Camps
Registration for FCPS Career and Technical Education (CTE) camps and Institute for the Arts (IFTA/E-IFTA) camps closes on Friday, June 7. Tuition is waived for students eligible for free and reduced-price meals. Bus transportation is available from select FCPS high schools and middle schools. ☀️ Enjoy Learning, Fun, and Helpful Information at the Extravaganza!
Stop by Woodson High School on Saturday, June 1, 9:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m., for the FCPS Summer Extravaganza! Families are invited to participate in engaging educational activities designed to spark curiosity and inspire growth. In addition to learning activities, enjoy tips and helpful information for families. Enjoy face painting, food, music, a moon bounce, a petting zoo, storytime, and student performances — at no cost!

Beech Tree is hosting a Career Share Event on Wednesday, June 5th for our Beaver students in Pre-K to 5th grade. We encourage parents and family members from all jobs to sign up and share with our students! Children enjoy and learn so much as presenters explain their career and show “tools of the trade” with the students. If you’re feeling unsure about how to make the presentation student friendly, know that we will be providing guiding topics to talk about. 😊
Career Share Day Volunteer Time Slots:
- 9:45am - 11:00am (Pre-K – 2nd)
- 1:45pm - 3:00pm (3rd - 5th)
You can choose to volunteer in the morning, afternoon, or both! Each presentation will be 15 minutes. Parents will rotate to a new class to share the same presentation up to 3 times. If you would like to volunteer, sign up below by Friday, May 17th. We look forward to hearing from you. &pizza Restaurant Night - Tuesday Join us for a delicious night out at &pizza! On Tuesday, from 5 to 9 PM, &pizza will be hosting a restaurant night for Beech Tree families. Show the attached flyer when you order, and a portion of the proceeds will go to support our Beech Tree PTA. It’s a great way to enjoy a tasty meal while supporting our school community. Don’t forget to spread the word to family and friends!
