principal's message

Hello Mustangs,

Thank you so much for your support during Teacher/Staff Appreciation Week! We are truly grateful for everything you contributed to helping us celebrate our dedicated and exceptional staff. Additionally, this week was filled with our students completing their Science and Reading Standards of Learning (SOL) assessments, and we are so proud of their hard work. Our performing arts students enjoyed an exciting field trip to Busch Gardens today. On a different note, as we continue in this testing season, we want to emphasize the importance of school attendance. If you can, please schedule appointments and trips for non-testing days whenever possible, as it helps ensure students do not miss valuable instruction and can take their tests in a comfortable environment. As always, thank you for all you do, and please let us know if you have any questions, feedback, or concerns. Enjoy your weekend!

Justin Simmons | Principal | South County Middle School
