Teacher Appreciation Week
Teacher appreciation week started Monday, May 6th. PTA is working with the school to show love and appreciation towards our teachers throughout the week. If you would like to help with teacher appreciation week, you can donate by going to Venmo @Christine-Peter-4. Make sure to put teacher appreciation in the note.
Come support Liberty Middle School at Chick-fil-A Spirit Night!
Join us at Chick-fil-A located at 4516 Fair Knoll Dr., Fairfax, on Wednesday, May 22, from 4-8 pm. Remember to show the flyer or enter the code LIBERTY when you order through the mobile app, and Chick-fil-A will donate a part of the proceeds to the Liberty Middle School PTA. Come out and support the LMS!
Executive Board Nominations and Elections
The PTA needs you! There are board positions available for next year including the president, vice president, secretary, and treasurer.
The PTA cannot function without Board members – we need your help to continue to support the Liberty Lion community!
At a minimum, per the National PTA bylaws, our PTA board must have at least a President, Secretary, and Treasurer. If not then there will not be a PTA for Liberty next year. We need your help!
Are you interested in getting more involved with your student's school community? Consider volunteering for the Executive Board.
Please email president@libertymspta.org or secretary@libertymspta.org if you are interested or would like to schedule a time to answer any questions you may have about the different positions.
Elections will be taking place via electronic ballot during the month of May. The goal is to introduce next year's board at the June PTA meeting.
End of the Year Celebrations is coming!
June 11th, 2024 is the big 7th and 8th grade end-of-the-year celebrations for our students! Keep an eye out for information on how you can help make this a great celebration for our students.
