the PTSA General Meetings
Dear McLean HS Parents and PTSA members,
We cordially invite you to attend our next virtual general membership meeting on May 9th at 6pm (details below). During this meeting we will vote on the Nominating Committee. The election of next year's PTSA executive board will take place during the in-person meeting on May 15th at 6pm in the school's Lecture Hall. We need your participation at these meetings.
Additionally, we value your input on some budget changes related to supporting school initiatives. As this is your organization, we count on your opinions to ensure the best use of available resources, which come from your generous contributions and membership fees.
Your voice and involvement are crucial to the success of our PTSA. We look forward to seeing you at the meetings on May 9th and 15th, where together we can shape the future of our organization and support our school community.

The PTSA organizes a weekly Friday Breakfast Station during the year stocked with contributions by fellow McLean HS families. Health & Wellness Therapy Dogs
“Therapy Dogs Thursday” 5/09
Our therapy dog friends return this Thursday, May 9, from 11:00am-1:30pm. We are expecting six pups: Max, Raven, Maya, Charlie, Tiller, and Daisy.

Prom Help Needed - 5/18
The McLean High School Prom will take place on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at the McLean Hilton from 8:00 pm - 11:30 pm. The school is looking for parent chaperons:
- A few chaperones from 7:30-9:30
- A few chaperones from 9:30-11:30
- One for registration desk whole time and one to help in coat room

AP Testing
AP Testing will take place between May 6-24. Students should arrive at their testing locations by 7:45am for morning AP exams, and by 11:45am for afternoon AP exams. Students must arrange a ride home from school as most afternoon AP exams will conclude between 3:30-4:30PM.
Materials for paper/pencil exams
- Two #2 pencils and black/dark blue pen
- A calculator if taking APES, Biology, Calculus, Chemistry, Macro, Micro, Physics, Precalculus, or Statistics
Materials for Digital Tests (African Studies, Chinese, CSP, English Lang, English Lit, Seminar, U.S. History, & World History) exams
- Fully charged FCPS Chromebook and charger
- College Board login credentials to access Bluebook
- Two #2 pencils and black/dark blue pen
