Here is a calendar showing the SOL Testing Dates

SOL Testing in Grades 3-6

Our students in grades 3-6 are currently taking SOL tests and the schedule is above. Students perform best when they show up to school on time and well rested. Please support your children and our school as our students work hard to show how much they have learned this year.

Bike&Roll

Walk, Bike & Roll to School Day

Wednesday, May 8, is the official Walk, Bike & Roll to School Day.

Bike Month has been celebrated since 1956 to showcase the many benefits of bicycling and encourage more people to give biking a try. Fairfax County has an extensive network of both paved and natural surface bike trails. You can access a map to all the trails in Fairfax county online.

🏫 Register Your Five-Year-Old

for Kindergarten

Kindergarten Registration

Online Registration is Open!

Online registration for FCPS students is open for the 2024-25 school year. Learn about the online registration process.

After registration is complete the student will be ready for orientation, Bridge to Kindergarten, or any other introductory events Willow Springs may host.

Registering your child early helps schools prepare and ensure they have the teachers and resources needed on the first day of school. After determining which school your child will attend, parents/caregivers may prepare for registration by gathering documents and completing forms. For details and language support, please visit the Kindergarten Registration page.

Before- and After-School Care

Fairfax County Government’s School Age Child Care (SACC) program provides fun, safe, and educational care for children in kindergarten through sixth grade. Care is available before school, after school, and during school breaks in select Fairfax County public elementary schools and community centers.

SACC registration is now open for the 2024-25 school year.
