Student attendance at school is important all year long, up to the last day of school. Attendance has an effect on student performance and on school accreditation.

School Age Child Care (SACC)

This Fairfax County government program provides a safe and fun environment before and after school for elementary school-age children. SACC

FCPS works to connect, strengthen, and support our families, schools, and communities. Family Engagement Resources

Family Liaisons

Family Liaisons serve as a link between families and schools. Our Deer Park Family Liaison is Mrs. Jessica Arevalo. You can contact Mrs. Arevalo at 703-802-5003 anytime for assistance.

Library Reminder

The last day to check out library books is MAY 22nd and ALL BOOKS ARE DUE BY MAY 29TH

Lost books can be paid for with cash, a check made out to Deer Park ES, or through MySchoolBucks.

Sixth Grade Promotion Ceremony

June 12, 2024

Parents and families are invited to celebrate the accomplishments of our sixth grade students and reflect on their time at Deer Park on Wednesday, June 12th at 9:00 a.m.  Doors open at 8:50 a.m.

Students should "dress their best" in appropriate attire for this special day.

 

Kindergarten Blast Off!

June 10th at 2:00 p.m.

Families of Kindergarten students are invited to attend the end of year Blast off celebration on June 10th.
