Chick Hatching Live Stream via ZOOM
Students are invited to tune in to a live stream of our chick eggs. According to our countdown, our chicks may begin to hatch on Sunday! If you would like to check in on the action, you can use the zoom link below. To view our live stream, you will need to be logged in to your students FCPS google account*.

*Either through the browser or using the Zoom client, families can select sign-in with Google and then enter their StudentID@fcpsschools.net (ex. 1234567@fcpsschools.net) and then their password. Their passwords are the same ones that they use to login to their school computers every week. Student ID numbers can be found in ParentSIS.
SEL Screener Results
Students in grades 3-12 took the Social Emotional Learning (SEL) Screener in March. The SEL Screener reports will be mailed directly to families in the next week. This website includes both the Parent Report as well as a Family Guide to support you in understanding results and ideas for talking with your student about their results. Both are available in multiple languages. To learn more about SEL and how we support students at school and at home please see the FCPS SEL website. Please reach out to our school counselors, school psychologist or school social worker with any questions.
Optional Class Assignment Parent Survey
You have the opportunity to complete an optional “Class Assignment Parent Survey” for the upcoming year. You can access the survey at our Louise Archer website, under the announcements “Class Assignment Parent Survey". Or, you can go directly to the google form here. Complete the fillable form, submit it, and the information will go directly to me and will be shared with the grade level teachers during the placement process.
Please submit the electronic form no later than May 6, 2024. Late submissions or separate emails will not be considered. Thanks for continuing to have trust in our school and working together to create the most successful environment for your child(ren) at Louise Archer each year!
