Dear Dragons,
As we approach the end of the school year, we're thrilled to extend an invitation to our Kindergarten Orientation event, designed especially for some of our youngest Dragons. Tomorrow, we welcome families and rising kindergarten students to join us for an informative and fun-filled evening.
During the event, attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about kindergarten, experience a ride on a school bus, and engage in various activities tailored for our incoming students. We encourage all students who will be entering Kindergarten for the 2024-25 school year to attend.
The event will take place tomorrow, May 2nd, at 4:30 PM in our library. Doors will open at 4:00 PM for families to enter.
Thank you for your continued partnership and support.
Warm regards,
Kate Beckner Proud Principal
Some of our Dogwood Dragons performed this last weekend at the All County Choral Festival. Students are selected by audition. Once selected, they participate in many months of extra choral rehearsals with their elementary general music teachers. Students come together for two days of intensive rehearsals with a conductor who specializes in working with children’s choirs. The choral festival culminates with a spectacular concert by the students.
