I am a super fan of Broadway shows! The Mount Vernon District is fortunate to have so many great shows happening in our local schools over the next couple of weeks. West Potomac HS Theatre Presents Kinky Boots, April 26-27 and May 2-4
Beyond the Page Theater company is thrilled to announce its spring musical production of Kinky Boots in collaboration with FCPS Pride! This 2013 Tony award-winning musical is a sensational show that celebrates diversity, acceptance, and the power of self-expression.

The Drag Brunch will be a family friendly event, intended to expand upon the show’s message of accepting people for who they are despite our differences.

The Edison Pyramid Art Show will take place at Edison HS on Thursday, May 9, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Key MS Theatre Presents Disney, Descendants the Musical, May 24-25
Join Key Middle School for a musical event from Disney, Descendants the Musical! Mal and her band of villains are finally getting a chance to prove to their parents just how evil that can be. The four dastardly students travel to Auradon Prep, where the students are all, well, too good to be true. Tasked with stealing the Fairy Godmother's wand, Mal and company manipulate and steal their way to the coronation, but will these four really be able to betray the Auradonians they've come to respect, like, and even love? Come find out at Key Middle School!
