A Message from Ms. Laxton, Principal

FBUS Families,

Next week we will wrap up our Month of the Military Child celebrations.  Please take this last opportunity to scan the QR code and share a photo of your amazing kid(s). You are invited to join your child for lunch on Monday or Tuesday, where we will have a slide deck of all the pictures. You are welcome to bring your own lunch or purchase from our cafeteria!  Please note lunch times below.  While you are here, stop to take a look at our growing lost and found in the cafeteria as well! Have a great weekend everyone!

Elementary Institute for the Arts

Students in all FCPS schools can enroll in the Elementary Institute for the Arts. IFTA is a weekly Arts enrichment program for students in rising 3rd through 6th grades during the month of July. Students take classes in Art, Music, Theatre, and Dance every day. Transportation is provided from around the county. Tuition assistance is available for students who qualify. Check out the Elementary Institute for the Arts website for more information or email eifta@fcps.edu.

 FCPS Cares!

The FCPS CARES Program is an opportunity for parents, staff, and community members to recognize FCPS employees for going above and beyond to help others and show they care. We invite you to submit your story, so we can all acknowledge the good work of FCPS employees at Fort Belvoir Upper ES. We love our FBES staff members, let's tell them how we feel!
