Parents/Guardians, please join us in celebrating your 6th grade student's accomplishments at Kings Glen!  The ceremony will begin promptly at 9:15 a.m. on Tuesday, June 11.  More information will be going home with your student next week.

NexTrex Recycling

Keep the Plastic Coming! Our Trex Recycling Goal is 1000 Lbs!

Our goal is to collect 1000 pounds of plastic and earn a Trex park bench!  Send in plastic bags, films and wraps to Kings Glen to be weighed (no food residue, please). Please email Kathy Baker (KGES Family Liaison) with questions.

PTA "Be Smart" Presentation

Wednesday, May 1 at 6:30 p.m.

Mark your calendars for THIS WEDNESDAY May 1st at 6:30pm in the Kings Park Cafeteria for a presentation by Be Smart on gun storage and safety.  Note that this session is for adults only.

PTA Staff Appreciation Week - Coming May 6-10

KP/KG PTA will be celebrating our Totally Dope staff this year with a Saved by the 90s Staff Appreciation Week (May 6-10). It’s going to be off the hook!  Sign-up here to contribute, and check out the schedule here!  We will start with chalking at both schools at 5:30pm on Sunday (May 5).

2024-25 PTA Board Information

With thanks to the nominating committee, we were able to nearly fill the entire PTA board for next year.  We are still seeking a VP, Education and Community Outreach.  Please consider reaching out to board@kpkgpta.org to learn more about the position and the PTA in general.  The 2024-25 KP/KG PTA Board will be elected on May 22nd at our final General Membership Meeting of the school year.

PTA Spirit Night at InCourage Martial Arts

Friday, May 10 from 6:30-8:30 p.m.

Our next Spirit Night is coming up on Friday, May 10 from 6:30-8:30pm.  InCourage (Burke - 8932 Burke Lake Rd) will offer a Parent’s Night Out.  Pizza will be provided; $35/child, sibling discount $25. Register at bit.ly/burkeevents. More information.

KP vs KG Staff Kickball Game

Friday, May 17, 6:30 p.m. at Kings Glen

Save the date! The annual Kings Park vs Kings Glen staff kickball game and end of year celebration will be held on May 17th at 6:30 pm at Kings Glen. Join us for a night of kickball, activities and food trucks!

PTA DC United Night
