Teacher Appreciation Week - we need your help!

TAW 2024

Aloha Parents! Teacher & Staff Appreciation week starts on Monday May 6th! The PTA has a fabulous week of treats planned so we can spoil our wonderful teachers and staff -- and we need your help! First, May 6th is Mahalo Monday! Please send in notes of appreciation for our teachers and staff members! Cards from parents, letters and artwork from kids -- however you want to say Mahalo!

Secondly, we are looking for parents to help with Fun Fruit Friday! On Friday, May 10th, we will have a fruit, granola and yogurt bar for our teachers and staff. We are asking parents to bring in items that we can serve to the teachers, as well as gift cards that can be raffled off. Click here for more information and to contribute!

Parent Survey - there's still time to submit feedback!

Click here to provide your feedback about PTA events, programs, and communications. Everyone who leaves their email will be entered to win a gift card! We've extended the survey to be open until May 1. Thank you so much for helping make our PTA even better.

Volunteer Shoutouts!

Especially after our FABULOUS 5K weekend, we want to give you the opportunity to shout out a Wolftrap Volunteer. We cannot do all our wonderful events and programs without parents like you. We hope you've been enjoying the Wonderful Wolfie Highlights. Send us more here.

chris and jenna

Thank you Chris Harney for coordinating our Annual 5K for the past 5 years! We're going to miss you!

Wonderful Wolfie of the Week

Congrats Laura Burlingham!

From her nominator:

Laura has been the lead on the AIM program in Ms. Chung’s first grade class. She is so great with the kids and conveys her enthusiasm for the artist to the students. The students are always engaged and it’s a fun instructional part of class time. So glad we have this in our school and volunteers like Laura are willing to lead the charge.

Spring Bike Train - May 8

Wednesday, May 8 is the Spring Bike Train!

It's time to get your legs pumping, the spring bike train is back! The train will be led by the Fairfax County Police Department. We will depart at 8 am from the corner of Beulah and Liberty Tree Lane. Please see the map below for the route and feel free to join in anywhere along the route.

Coffee will be provided by Cafe Amouri at the end of the train.
