Class of 2024 Newsletter

Annandale Seniors and Families:

With graduation just six weeks away, there are several important opportunities coming up to commemorate and celebrate your accomplishments.

First, we are one week away from Prom! Prom is on May 2 at The River View at Occoquan. Ticket information is below. Please remember, before buying your tickets, all school obligations must be met and guest forms for non-AHS attendees approved.

Then, after graduation, students will have one last opportunity to gather with their classmates at the All Night Grad Celebration on June 4. Tickets are available now, with prices increasing after June 1. To make this event accessible for all, consider making a donation to sponsor a senior’s ticket. For this night, the support of our parents is invaluable. Please consider signing up to volunteer.

Seniors, don't forget to sign up for the Graduation Walk. This event allows our graduates to visit their former elementary and walk the halls with their cap and gown, a reminder of where their journeys began and how far they have come. Sign up by May 24 to participate.

Finally, capture these unforgettable years by pre-ordering your AHS Yearbook. Visit www.yearbookforever.com to secure your copy by May 19.

For more details on any of these events or to stay up-to-date, check the information shared in our Schoology group. Use the join code K8K2-FV6B-PBZCJ. If you have any questions about upcoming senior events, please contact our senior class sponsors, Jeff Smith, Pat Brown, and Jane Scharankov, or our senior administrator, Aaron Schneider.

Sincerely,

Shawn DeRose, Principal
