Mosaic Mustangs showed appreciation for our military-connected families by wearing purple today for Purple Up! Day
🌎Earth Week Spirit Days
Mosaic will be celebrating Earth Week by participating in the county-wide spirit week from April 22-April 26. Students are encouraged to explore resources and work towards being ethical and global citizens! In addition, students who complete an at-home Bingo board can bring it in to Mrs. Blevins and the SCA (deliver to her mailbox or her classroom) for a chance to win a prize! Fairfax County Parks & Rec has great learning opportunities including this Earth Day Festival on Saturday, April 20th.
Monday, April 22 – Earth Day - wear green
Tuesday, April 23 – Watershed Day - wear blue
Wednesday, April 24 – Zero Waste Day - wear white
Thursday, April 25 – Climate Change Day - wear red
Friday, April 26 - Wildlife Day - wear nature print
❤️Child Abuse Prevention Month
 April is Child Abuse Prevention Month! SCA representatives gathered at the front of Mosaic ES to “plant” a pinwheel garden on Tuesday afternoon for Child Abuse Prevention Month. Pinwheels represent hope for a happy and healthy childhood free from abuse and neglect. This symbol was adopted in 2008 by Prevent Child Abuse America, whose mission is to prevent child abuse and neglect of all children in the United States. #PinwheelsForPrevention #BuildingStrongerFamilies
🔬Einstein Night - April 25
Students from Mosaic Elementary School will be showcasing an experiment, invention, or discovery at Einstein Night! It is a night full of learning in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
The event is free, and all are welcome.
