Floris Families,

It is almost the end of May, and there are only twelve school days left in this school year. It is hard to believe that the year is almost over.

It was wonderful to have the FCPS Superintendent, Dr. Reid, visit Floris on Tuesday and see some of our amazing staff and students in action.

Our first graders also enjoyed Harry Potter Day yesterday. Thank you to the teachers and parents who helped make this fun event happen.

All FCPS schools and offices are closed on Monday for the Memorial Day Holiday. We hope everyone has a wonderful and safe long weekend! See you Tuesday!

We are so excited for the Annual Kindergarten Big Truck day happening next Wednesday, May 29 (Inclement Weather Date Friday, May 31). Please remember that there is a modified Kiss and Ride and the main lot (by the fire station) will not be available for parking that day.

A reminder to families, if your child has medication in the School Health Room, a parent must come to Floris by Wednesday, June 12, at 2:00pm to pick up the medication.

Have a wonderful weekend,

Holly Walker, Principal, hjwalker@fcps.edu

Rob Gibbs, Assistant Principal, ragibbs@fcps.edu
