How to Donate or Receive Sick Leave

FCPS has implemented a leave donation program, which allows a voluntary transfer of sick leave balances between specific employees. To participate in this program, both the leave donor and leave recipient must meet program requirements outlined on the Types of Leave webpage

After a leave donation form is submitted via StaffConnect, the Office of Benefit Services will verify the recipient's status and advise the Payroll Office. If approved, Payroll will process the leave donation in the next scheduled pay period. To discuss donating or receiving leave, please contact Benefit Services at 571-423-3200. View Regulation 4819 for more information.

📅 Plan Ahead with the 2024-25 Employee Calendar

FCPS' 2024-25 Employee Calendar is now available. It includes the same number of paid holidays as the 2023-24 calendar. View the 2024-25 Employee Calendar.

Discover the Do’s and Don’ts of Political Activity

Please take a moment to review the policies and regulations governing FCPS employee political activity, including:

All employees are encouraged to engage in their constitutional rights as citizens, but they are not permitted to involve their schools or workplaces in political campaigns or engage in campaign activities during official employment hours. Employees are also not permitted to use FCPS technology resources — including email accounts — for campaign activities or to advocate for political causes.

If you have questions about what political activities are permitted or prohibited, please contact the Office of Employee Relations at 571-423-3070.
