Olde Creek News
Olde Creek went purple on Wednesday for PurpleUp Day! We have 50 amazing military-connected students, and we're showing our support all month long.
Admin Avenue
Dear Olde Creek Elementary Families,
This week was packed with exciting learning opportunities and events to celebrate our students' talents!
On Wednesday, we be turned our Olde Creek purple for "Purple Up! Day." This nationwide initiative honored military children and their families for the sacrifices they make.
We'd also like to extend a huge congratulations to all our young artists who showcased their work at the Woodson Pyramid Art Show! This event highlights the creativity of students from across the pyramid!
Our 5th graders had a blast today at the Children's Museum of DC! From tinkering in the innovation labs to journeying through history exhibits, they were busy making memories and sparking their imaginations.
Looking ahead to next week, get ready to celebrate Earth Week! We'll have fun spirit days throughout the week, with a focus on environmental awareness. Mark your calendars and get creative with your attire!
Sincerely,
Courtney, Alison and Stephanie
