Dear Sleepy Hollow Families,
I hope this message finds you well and enjoying the start of a warm spring week ahead. I wanted to take a moment to extend our heartfelt gratitude to our incredible PTA for yet another fantastic event this past Friday.
The movie night was a resounding success, and it was truly heartwarming to witness families coming together to share in the joy of cinema and delicious popcorn. Your support and participation are what make these events so special, and we are immensely grateful for your enthusiasm and dedication.
As we look ahead to the coming days, we are excited that every grade level will have the opportunity to experience the Fryin' Pan Farm field trip. This promises to be an enriching and memorable outing for our students, and we can't wait to see the excitement on their faces as they learn and explore.
With only ten weeks left in the school year, we kindly ask for your continued assistance in reinforcing school behavior expectations with your children. Your partnership plays a crucial role in helping our students make positive choices each day, and we truly appreciate your ongoing support.
Thank you once again for your unwavering commitment to our school community. Together, we can continue to create meaningful experiences and opportunities for our children to thrive.

Safe, Supported, Inclusive
FCPS Family Summit 2024
The FCPS Family Summit will take place on Saturday, April 20, 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Marshall High School. The conference will cover topics that are helpful for all families, such as social-emotional resources, along with a specially curated online component to provide supports for students with disabilities and their families.
Some of the topics include raising resilient, independent children; forming meaningful connections with children; addressing big emotions; and the dangers of opioids and fentanyl. The conference is being planned by several FCPS offices in collaboration with the Fairfax Alliance of Black School Educators, Black Women’s Educational Alliance - DC Chapter, Hispanic Educators Association, and Asian Educators Association.
This year’s theme is Safe, Supported, and Included, which aligns with Goal 2 of the FCPS Strategic Plan. More details will be available after spring break.
