LHS Director of Student Activities and Tour of the New Space

The April 12 PTO General Membership Meeting will feature Geoff Noto, Langley HS Director of Student Activities, about all the offerings available to our rising 9th graders.  Competitive academics (Model UN, etc) a huge offering of club options, and sports teams all fall under his purview. 

Additionally, tours of the newly opened wing of the school will be available for parents curious about the new space.  See you tomorrow, in the Cooper cafeteria!


Cooper PTO Executive Board Opportunities: 

2024-25 School Year

The Cooper Middle School PTO is looking for volunteers to serve either as a Board member or Executive Committee chairs for the 2024-2025 school year. Open Board positions are President and Membership. Executive Committee chairs are available for a variety of positions from hospitality to staff appreciation and much more. Whether you have a lot of time to volunteer, or just a few hours periodically to support Cooper Middle School, please contact Christina.Saxon@yahoo.com  to learn more.


Cooper PTO Dine Out as Santini’s McLean: 

Wednesday, April 17, 3-9pm

Let Santini’s make  your family dinner, with the benefits going to the PTO!  On Wednesday, April 17, from 3 - 9, Santini’s will donate 15% of the cost of your order (online  or in person) back to the PTO.  A midweek win for busy parents and our school!

SCA Eras Tour Movie Night: 

Friday, April 12, 5-9pm

 

The SCA will host a movie night Friday, April 12, 5-9, for current Cooper students only.  Buy your tickets at the door for just $3!   Don’t forget your friendship bracelets!

A few parents are needed to chaperone.  If you’d like to help, please complete this form.


Annual Cooper vs Longfellow Basketball Game: 

Wednesday, April 17, 6pm

The basketball rivalry continues!  Come cheer on your Cooper Cougars,  girls at 6pm and boys at 7pm at McLean HS on Weds, April 17.  Tickets in sold in advance only via MySchoolBucks, beginning today!

Kent Gardens Heritage Night Student Volunteer Opportunity

Kent Gardens is hosting Heritage Night (formerly known as International Night) on April 20th. 

We would gladly welcome middle school volunteers for the setup and cleanup of our event.  Any service hour verification forms may be sent to kgptapresident@gmail.com.  Sign up here for set up on 4/19 and 4/20, and clean up on 4/20.
