🖍️ It’s Kindergarten Registration Time!

Attending kindergarten provides children with an opportunity to learn and practice the essential social, emotional, problem-solving, and self-regulation skills they will use throughout their lives. Eligible children can also be registered throughout the summer, but registering your child early helps us plan, so that we have the teachers and resources needed on the first day of school.

We are happy to support families with registration and the transition to kindergarten. For more information in other languages, visit FCPS’ Kindergarten Registration webpage.

MAY 6-10: TEACHER & STAFF APPRECIATION WEEK

Keene Mill will roll out the red carpet as we celebrate during Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week from May 6-10. We have a week of fun events and treats planned for our amazing and hardworking KMES teachers and staff. This year our theme is "Hollywood" as we give them the VIP treatment!

Links to donate items and volunteer during the week are available on our PTA website: keenemillpta.ptboard.com

MAY 7: VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR SPRING CONCERT

Keene Mill's Spring Concert is on Tuesday, May 7 at West Springfield High School. This is a big undertaking by our KMES music instructors and they have asked for help to make the evening run smoothly, especially assistance with directing students to their correct rooms, helping supervise in the rooms, and transitioning groups on and off stage.

Volunteer shifts have been set up to give family members of the group on stage time to see their student(s) perform. If you are able to help, please review the available slots at https://tinyurl.com/KeeneMillSpringConcert to sign up. Thank you!
