The Principals' POSITIVE Press
Happy Friday CES Community,
What a whirlwind of a week! We had so many exciting POSITIVE events, including the solar eclipse, family morning meetings, and the spring book fair (which runs through Wednesday). A huge thank you to all the POSITIVE community members who joined us for the Family Morning Meetings! The Principals' Coffee conversations about supporting CES students were insightful, and we look forward to continuing the POSITIVE dialogue.
Our POSITIVE school spirit spiked at the volleyball game against Union Mill last Friday! Even though our POSITIVE cheering section might have been smaller, they were just as loud and proud! Big thanks to everyone who came out to cheer on our POSITIVE teams. It's always incredible to see the POSITIVE energy our school community brings – thanks for making it a great night!

Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) Screener Results Coming Soon
Students in grades 3-12 took the SEL Screener during the month of March, providing updated information on their SEL skills like achieving goals, understanding and managing emotions, establishing and maintaining relationships, and making responsible decisions. The screener also asks students how well their school community makes them feel valued, included, and supported.
In late April, individual student SEL Screener results will be available to families in the Documents section of SIS ParentVUE. For families who do not have an active ParentVUE account, results will be sent via postal mail.
For more information about the screener please visit the Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) Screener webpage. For support in understanding your individual student’s results or for ideas on how to support them at home, please review the Family Guide or contact your student’s school.
Lost and Found at CES
The Lost and Found wardrobe at CES is overflowing! Lost items are displayed in the café and near the gym doors. Any items not claimed by Friday, May 3rd, will be donated.
Please remember to put your child’s name on their belongings so they can be returned.
