27th Annual Career Day
April 18

Getting ready for career day

HES parents and guardians!

Next Thursday, April 18th is the return of our 27th annual CAREER DAY!! It’s a wonderful, fun filled day full of our busy bees learning about new career areas and being exposed to new opportunities to prepare them for the future!

It’s also a spirit day!  We love to see our future doctors, professional athletes, entrepreneurs, teachers and Presidents dress up to fully immerse in the experience!  As you see from our last event in 2023 – the kids look AWESOME!  This is completely optional, students can also dress in their favorite college shirt or a shirt with a positive message to show their spirit for future endeavors! Our teachers love this aspect and really show their support each week!

Get ready for the fun!!

Ms. Bryant and Mr. Falkey

Sra. Bryant y Sr. Falkey

Heritage Night
April 25
5:30pm-7:30pm

drawing of world and kids holding hands around it

We would love for families to decorate a paper doll in their heritage to display at school for Heritage Night!  Paper dolls were sent home in students’ backpacks. If your child needs another one, please have him/her tell the teacher.  We have them in the main office.

Please cut out the doll first. Next, complete the information on the back of the doll, this identifies the owner.  Now you are ready to start creating your doll.

You may use whatever you have available (cloth, ribbons, construction paper, markers and crayons, etc.) to create your special person. You can create the face by drawing and coloring it or by placing your child’s picture on it.
