To show our support for all our military-connected families, we are inviting all Fairfax County students, families, school employees, and community members to “Purple Up!” on April 17  for military children.

Why purple? Purple symbolizes all branches of the military as a combination of Army green, Marine Corps red, and Coast Guard, Navy, Air Force and Space Force blue.


Robinson Pyramid Art Show - April 18th

Please join us at the annual Robinson Art Show!

We are excited to invite you to join us on Thursday, April 18th for an exhibit of our pyramid artists’ work. 

The show will feature over 34 High School student’s displays and pyramid artwork from Bonnie Brae, Fairview, Laurel Ridge, Terra Centre, and Oakview Elementary students. 

Come early for dinner and dessert with local food trucks. They will be serving food and treats from 5:30 to 8pm.  Doors open for the general public from 6 to 8 pm.  The exhibit will be open during the day to Robinson students and FCPS employees from 8:00-11:30 am & 1:20-3:00 pm.

Athletic Boosters Golf Tournament: April 22nd Sign up TODAY!

Attention golfers! The 19th annual Robinson Rams Athletics Boosters Club Golf Tournament will be held on Monday, April 22, 2024 at the Country Club of Fairfax. The tournament welcomes all levels of golfers, and follows a captain’s choice format. Singles, foursomes and sponsorship packages are available. Come join fellow Robinson Rams fans for a full day of fun -- breakfast, a putting contest, lunch on the course, awards, and a silent auction -- all to raise funds to help support Robinson Secondary School student-athletes. 2024 Robinson International Show - May 2nd

After a 5-year hiatus, the Asian American Association (ASA) and the Latin American Student Association International (iLASA) are please to present the 2024 Robinson International Show on the evening of Thursday, May 2. This production is a cultural showcase of dance and song performed by Robinson students. The Student Equity Organization (SEO) is coordinating a tailgate prior to the show where Robinson clubs and organizations will offer activities and items for sale.

The evening’s events include:
Tailgate in Main Hallway – 5:00-6:30 pm
Doors to Russell Theater Open – 6:30 pm
Show Begins in Russell Theater – 7:00 pm

April is the Month of the Military Child! Every year we take the opportunity to recognize military-connected youth for their service and contribution to our community. Fairfax County Public Schools is proud to have over 14,000 military-connected youth as a part of our student body. We appreciate the varied life experiences they bring to our school community, and recognize their strength and resilience.

National Arab American Heritage Month

FCPS is proud to celebrate National Arab American Heritage Month in April. This special month provides an opportunity to recognize the remarkable history and valuable contributions of Arab Americans.

Arab Americans have ancestry in one of the world’s 22 Arab nations, which are located from northern Africa through western Asia. The people of these nations are ethnically, politically, and religiously diverse but share a common cultural and linguistic heritage.

Autism Acceptance Month

April is Autism Acceptance Month. One in 44 children is diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder in the United States, according to the CDC. Our schools and staff play a vital role in creating and ensuring inclusive environments that accommodate and affirm autistic students.

Seniors Apply Now for PTSO Scholarships! Deadline is April 30th

Robinson PTSO awards scholarships for graduating seniors who will pursue post-secondary education including vocational, two-year and four-year programs.

There are three scholarships available: the Friends of RobinsonDelta and the First to College Scholarships.

Each scholarship is valued between $500 to $1000. This year, more than one scholarship per category may be awarded!

Seniors may apply, or submit a nomination for any of the scholarships they feel they are best qualified to receive. Deadline to apply is April 30, 2024!

Legal Seminar - Covering the Essentials: Legal Documents You Need When Your Child Turns 18 April 25th

You're invited to join us on April 25th at 7 pm (Recital Hall -OR- online) as Robinson ANGP hosts an informative session led by award-winning attorney, local mom and community advocate, Rebecca Geller.  The one-hour session will delve into the crucial legal documents every parent should have in place when their child reaches the age of 18.  Reserve your spot TODAY!

NOTE:  The seminar is FREE to attend, however, donations are appreciated.  All donations will go toward the Robinson 2024 ANGP.  Thank you!

April is National Poetry Month (& National Library week, April 7-13)! Help us celebrate all month long by reading, writing, singing, sharing, and listening to poetry. We will publish a Poem-a-Day every morning via Schoology and will host poetry programming all month long. Please visit the library before school, during break, during RAISE (with a pass), or after school to join the fun!
