Tomorrow, we will be showing the eclipse in the classroom. Weather permitting, all students will have the chance to witness a portion of this rare event outside at school.
If you plan on picking your child up early tomorrow, we kindly request that you do so before 3 PM to ensure they don't miss out on this unique learning experience and to avoid being frustration with a longer processing time for student pickup.
Please keep in mind that attendance at school tomorrow is still the expectation.
The Spring Standards of Learning (SOL) standardized assessments are designed to evaluate students' knowledge and skills based on state standards. The school utilizes the assessment data to measure academic growth and make instructional decisions.
In May, students from third through sixth grade at Pine Spring will be assessed. It is important to ensure that your child is punctual and has consistent daily attendance to provide them with ample time and opportunity to complete their assessments. We appreciate your efforts in ensuring that your child is present and arrives at school on time.
If you have any questions regarding SOL assessments, please contact Stephanie Sutton, at slsutton@fcps.edu.
