The Dunne Dispatch (Principal Selection Edition) - 04/04/2024
Dear Friends and Neighbors,
I am writing to encourage you to participate in the selection of a principal for Fort Hunt Elementary School. FCPS needs to hear your voices so the principals are aligned with our community expectations and requirements.
- You can participate in the Fort Hunt Principal Selection Meeting on Monday, April 8, 2024, 6:00 p.m. via Zoom. The link will be sent the night before the meeting. During this meeting, FCPS officials will outline the process, including the multiple levels of interviews that will take place to select a candidate who is the best fit and match to lead this school.
- You can volunteer to serve on the principal interview panel on Monday, April 29, 2024. The advisory panel is composed of three staff representatives and three parent/family or community representatives from the Fort Hunt community. If you are interested in serving as a panelist, please submit your information by close of business on Friday, April 19, 2024, using the Google form linked here.
- You can provide written input on the desired skills, experience, and leadership experience. Please send your input to HRPrincipalPool@fcps.edu by Friday, April 19, 2024.
