The Principals' POSITIVE Press

Happy Friday  CES Community,

Tonight, we have our POSITIVE school volleyball game against Union Mill Elementary. This is a fun night filled with school spirit! We hope you come out to Centreville High School @ 6:00pm to cheer on the CES Team. We are confident it will be a POSITIVE time.

Next week, CES will be hosting POSITIVE Family Morning Meetings. A Morning Meeting is a POSITIVE way to start each day, build a strong sense of community, and set children up for success socially and academically. Each morning, students and teachers in classrooms at CES gather together in a circle for twenty to thirty minutes. We are inviting parents in to learn more about POSITIVE Morning Meetings and experience the fun! All meetings will be immediately followed by a Principal Coffee. Last week, WUSA aired a story on the Trout in the Classroom (TIC) program at CES! Our students, Mr. Gray, and Mrs. Settlemyre did an amazing job representing CES and sharing our POSITIVE story. Please click HERE to view the video clip. Both WUSA9 and Fox 5 will continue to follow the TIC program during the trout release field trip later this month.

Please continue to share Spring Break pictures with Mr. Douds at jtdouds@fcps.edu. We hope to have a POSITIVE representation for our bulletin board. Thank you to those who have already shared.
