We have certainly had a quick 3rd quarter and we know how students are looking forward to enjoying their spring break in a few days. As we gear up for the start of 4th quarter and the end of year celebrations, we have a few details to share with seniors. Please check out information below about our annual scholarship supported by Spotlight on the Arts. We also want to feature our seniors and all the exciting places they will be going next year. Please make note of dates your student will not attend Academy during the final quarter of the year. Base schools do not always share information with Academy about field trips, testing, pep rallies, and other activities. In order to make sure each student has an opportunity to meet end of year requirements, please submit dates your student will be absent from Academy.

Fairfax Academy is pleased to announce that Spotlight on the Arts is awarding their first annual Mason and Woods Scholarship to a Fairfax Academy or FHS senior continuing in their pursuit of the arts after graduation. The award is $1000 and applications are due by April 19, 2024.
Students must submit the following via this Spotlight on the Arts Scholarship Application using their FCPS Google account.
To be included:
- A 400 to 500 word essay,
- A video of a solo or group piece, performance, or portfolio with explanation
- Artistic Recommendation letter
- Character Recommendation letter

 Fairfax Academy's Fashion Careers Program is currently CASTING for their Fashion in Motion show coming up at the Stacy C. Sherwood Center in Fairfax on Saturday, May 11. All models must be current FCPS students or faculty. Register HERE if you are interested in participating. There will be a Model Catwalk Training with special guest, Miss Virginia, USA on Thursday, May 2nd from 3:30pm - 5:30pm.
