Spirit Night was a great success. Both teams played hard and kids and families had so much fun!

Dear Willow Springs Families,

Last week we had a spectacular kick off to Spring Break! The fun began on Friday the 15th with WSES' Spirit Night at Centreville High School. Both teams played HARD and everyone had a lot of fun demonstrating their school spirit as they cheered on the Willows and the Foxes. If there was an MVP award given to each team, the gentlemen pictured above would definitely get it. They were FIRE on the floor!

Speaking of fire on the floor, our jump rope teams performed during spirit night and they made us all want to start jumping.

Spirit Week allowed us to have extra fun each day and gave students the opportunity to show their creativity! There are too many photos to post here so we will likely post them on Facebook this week.

We wish everyone a relaxing and enjoyable Spring Break! #WillowPride

SOL Testing Dates

Every spring, students across the state of Virginia in grades 3-12 take Standards of Learning (SOL) tests to assess their learning. Elementary school students take reading and math tests starting in 3rd grade and continuing every year through 6th grade. In addition, 5th grade students take a science test. The expectation from the Virginia Department of Education (VDOE) is that all students in grades 3-12 will participate in SOL testing every spring. Testing begins in May and is completed in June.

Testing dates and Information can be found on the Willow Springs Website.
