The Principals' POSITIVE Press
Happy Spring Break CES Community,
The POSITIVE students and staff have earned a well deserved spring break! We hope that you and your family have something special planned for the week. CES would love to see and hear about your POSITIVE spring break plans. Whether you are traveling or staying home, please send pictures of POSITIVE events to Mr. Douds at jtdouds@fcps.edu. We will display the POSITIVE pictures on the POSITIVE Spring Break Bulletin Board in the main hallway at CES!
What a Week at CES!
This POSITIVE week has been a whirlwind of exciting events for our POSITIVE school! We're so proud of our students and all their POSITIVE hard work on display at these special occasions.

Boosterthon Run: We kicked off the week with the POSITIVE Boosterthon Run, a fun run that raised over $28,000 for our very own Centreville Elementary School! Thank you to all the POSITIVE students, families, and staff who participated/supported and helped make this event a POSITIVE success!

Centreville Pyramid Band Concert: Our talented Centreville Pyramid Band filled the auditorium with beautiful music on Wednesday evening. CES had 22 POSITIVE musicians participate. It was wonderful to see all their POSITIVE dedication and practice come to life in such a captivating performance.

Second Grade Musical: The magic of theatre came alive as our POSITIVE second graders presented their incredible musical, E-I-E-I-Oops! It was heartwarming to witness their creativity and POSITIVE teamwork on stage. Congratulations to the cast and crew on a POSITIVELY fantastic performance!
During the week of April 8th, CES will be hosting POSITIVE Family Morning Meetings. A Morning Meeting is a POSITIVE way to start each day, build a strong sense of community, and set children up for success socially and academically. Each morning, students and teachers in classrooms at CES gather together in a circle for twenty to thirty minutes. We are inviting parents in to learn more about POSITIVE Morning Meetings and experience the fun! All meetings will be immediately followed by a Principal Coffee. For planning purposes, below is the schedule.

 April is the Month of the Military Child. On April 17th, we will celebrate our military-connected students with donuts. If you are a veteran, you are invited to donuts and coffee with your child/children in the library from 9:00-9:30. Please sign up below if you plan to attend and please include your child’s name.
