A Huge thank you to the amazing Skate Night Committee: Bryony Slaughter, Samina Antoniuk, Kelly Penn and Leanne McNabney for their hard work in making this year's event so fun!
Wolftrap PTA's Artist in the Making program will be holding its final parent training session for the year on April 11, from 8:45-9:45 in the Wolftrap cafeteria for grades K-5 volunteers. The April/May artist is Antonio Gaudi, a Spanish Art Noveau architect who incorporated sculptural forms in the design of his buildings.
Thank you to all the many volunteers supporting the program in every classroom at Wolftrap! The AIM Committee is recruiting for the 2024-25 school year, so please email aim@wolftrappta.org to help - no experience or "artisiness" necessary!

Walk in My Shoes
Check out the SignupGenius for a Walk in My Shoes the week of April 8-12
This program "fosters inclusion by providing empathy-building activities designed to teach elementary school-aged children how to be respectful and inclusive of all children, especially those with medical conditions, developmental challenges, or learning differences". Introduced to Wolftrap last year, this wonderful program relies on parent volunteers to help with different activities designed to increase knowledge and shift perspectives. Sign up today!
Food for Others
We also need volunteers to help pick up the donated food from the cafeteria on Fridays and drop-off at Food For Others at 2938 Prosperity Ave, Fairfax, VA. This food is desperately needed in our community. Link here! Thank you for making a difference!

This week's Wonderful Wolfie: Laura Burlingham!
From her nominator: Laura has been the lead on the AIM program in Ms. Chung’s first grade class. She is so great with the kids and conveys her enthusiasm of the artist to the students. The students are always engaged and it’s a fun instructional part of class time. So glad we have this in our school and volunteers like Laura are willing to lead the charge.
