Registration for VIP Camp Holmes opens TONIGHT, 6pm

VIP Summer Camp for Rising 7th and 8th graders at Jackson MS will be held at Holmes MS this summer!

Dates:  Weekdays, July 1-August 1 (No camp on July 4 & 5)

Registration for our summer camp will become available TONIGHT, Tuesday 3/12 at 6pm. Below is the link for Registration:

Payment - Upon completion of the registration form, you will receive a separate email with payment instructions within the next few days.

VIP SUMMER CAMP FAQ (the answers)

  1. Camp is located at Holmes Middle School; 6525 Montrose Street, Alexandria VA 22312.
  2. Bus transportation will be provided for students to and from camp.
  • Specific bus stops will be provided once all the registration forms are complete and we get the information that we need from families to create the necessary stops.
  • Students may be dropped off at camp anytime between 8am-9am.
  • Activities will start at 9am and will end at 3:15. Buses will depart school at 3:30.
  1. Camp Fees – There is a one-time payment of $100 for all five weeks (July 1-Aug 1). Camp will not be prorated based on your student’s attendance.
  2. Attendance – we understand that families and students may have other summer obligations and there is no attendance requirement. Students may come from 1 week to all five weeks.
  3. Daily Activities – students will select their daily activities each day which include but not limited to; Fitness, Art, Anime, Basketball, Video Games, Board Games, Photography, Robotics, Soccer, and more.
  4. Cell Phone Policy – see below.

  1. Field Trips - We will take 3 field trips over the course of the camp.
  • The field trips include a water park, bowling, and a Washington Nationals major league baseball game.
  • The dates of the field trips are Wednesday July 10th, July 17th, and July 25th (Nats baseball game).
  • Field Trip fees are separate from your original one-time registration fee.
  • The cost of the field trips will be provided in early June.

In-Person Pre-camp Parent Meeting

There will be an in-person meeting for families of students attending camp on Thursday May 30th 6:30-7:30 pm at Holmes Middle School. 

At least one parent/guardian should plan to attend.
