A Message from Ms. Laxton, Fort Belvoir Upper Principal
Good Afternoon Families,
Thank you to all who filled out the Parent Survey last week. Our team of Military Family Life Counselor and Family Liaison will use this information to create some parent training opportunities to meet your specific needs. We will send out more information soon on these engagement opportunities.
Please remember that our Lost and Found will be sent for donation over spring break. Take some time to look through the items or ask your child to do so.
As we move into spring, I want to thank you for the continued support you have provided already this year. I look forward to sharing some fun April activities soon to celebrate the Month of the Military Child. Have a great weekend Dolphins!

Elementary Institute for the Arts
Students in all FCPS schools can enroll in the Elementary Institute for the Arts. IFTA is a weekly Arts enrichment program for students in rising 3rd through 6th grades during the month of July. Students take classes in Art, Music, Theatre, and Dance every day. Transportation is provided from around the county. Tuition assistance is available for students who qualify. Check out the Elementary Institute for the Arts website for more information or email eifta@fcps.edu.
FCPS Cares!
The FCPS CARES Program is an opportunity for parents, staff, and community members to recognize FCPS employees for going above and beyond to help others and show they care. We invite you to submit your story, so we can all acknowledge the good work of FCPS employees at Fort Belvoir Upper ES. We love our FBES staff members, let's tell them how we feel!
