A huge thank you to our teachers and staff for the learning experiences they provide in writing workshop each and every day. We are proud to call ourselves writers!

Happy National School Social Worker Appreciation Month! We are so grateful to work alongside our amazing social worker, Ms. Buchanan.
Ms. Buchanan puts her heart into all she does! Whether its connecting community mentors with students, conferencing with parents about improving attendance or supporting staff through problem solving student supports, she is there for us!

FCPS Family Engagement Survey
The FCPS’ Family Engagement Survey is now open. Survey partner K12 Insight emailed a link to families on March 3 and again on March 6. Please participate! Your feedback is critical in helping to inform and improve FCPS practices to best support our students.
The survey is available in 10 languages. All responses are confidential. Parents/caregivers may stop by the front office to fill out a paper survey or complete the survey online. Please check your email for the survey invitation or use this survey link. Get more information on the Family Engagement Survey webpage.
Join us on March 15th for our first Silent Auction and BINGO night! Doors open at 6:30. More information below.
Kindergarten Registration
Do you have a child at home who will be five by September 30, 2024? Please start your registration now. If you have any neighbors with little ones, please send this information to them as well. These are the 5 steps you need to take to register your child. If you have questions regarding kindergarten registration, please reach out Ms. Garcia or call our main office at 703-641-8200.

Elementary Institute for the Arts
Students in all FCPS schools can enroll in the Elementary Institute for the Arts. IFTA is a weekly Arts enrichment program for students in rising 3rd through 6th grades during the month of July. Students take classes in Art, Music, Theatre, and Dance every day. Transportation is provided from around the county. Tuition assistance is available for students who qualify.
