Happy Friday CES Community,
We had another POSITIVE week at CES! It definitely feels like we are headed towards some consistent POSITIVE spring weather soon! Next week, will be a POSITIVE CES Spirit Week to 'SELebrate' Read Across America Week. This year we will be celebrating Reading and Social Emotional Learning. Please see below for the POSITIVE daily focus.

One of the POSITIVE highlights from this week was the schoolwide PTA sponsored Mix Major assembly. DJ Enferno engaged the POSITIVE CES students through an interactive, educational, entertaining, and inspirational show. The POSITIVE assemblies concluded with the entire audience actively participating in the recording of an original POSITIVE piece of music. This was our first POSITIVE schoolwide educational assembly since before COVID. It was awesome to see the students engaged, clapping, and smiling throughout the performance. Thank you to our POSITIVE PTA for providing this amazing opportunity to our students!
In the picture above, two of our POSITIVE students competed in the Virginia Wrestling State Championship this past weekend. Both of them had a POSITIVE tournament, however, one of them won the U8 bracket for the 62 lb. weigh class. This is a POSITIVE example of how awesome the CES students are!
Next Saturday, is the POSITIVE PTA Spring Carnival. This is a POSITIVE day filled with games, food, prizes, and fun! We hope that you and your POSITIVE family will be able to attend the carnival.
