AP Exam Fees
We are closely approaching the 2024 AP Exam administration and finalizing exam orders. Fairfax County Public Schools provides funding for the first six exams each student takes over the course of their time in high school. Exams beyond the first six (invoiced as Exam 7, Exam 8, etc.) are invoiced to the student in MySchoolBucks. Exam fees were added to your student’s account on December 11, 2023. These fees should be paid by March 1, 2024.
SEL Screener
The Spring Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) Screener will be administered to students during Advisory the week of March 4, 2024. Students use the SEL Screener twice a year to share their perspectives on how well their school and community help them develop skills they need to succeed. The screener works by asking questions or presenting statements that students can think about and respond to. More information is available about the SEL Screener by accessing this link:
https://www.fcps.edu/student-tests-and-assessments/student-assessment-details/social-emotional-screener If you have any questions please reach out to our SEL Screener Lead, Jennifer Frate, at jlfrate@fcps.edu.

One School | One Community | One World
Madison High School strives to create and maintain an identity affirming learning environment where our students embrace, support, and encourage each other where multiple forms of identity (i.e. race, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, or disability) are recognized and regarded as assets for teaching and learning. We work to ensure school is a place where students feel safe and can be themselves. We do not tolerate hate speech, racist speech, bias, or acts of discrimination in our school. We want all students to feel a sense of belonging. We want to see all students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. We are committed to learning, growing, and building the best Madison High School for all our students. We are One School - One Community - One World.
