REMINDER: Virtual School House Chat: Substance Abuse Awareness
We hope you can join us for our virtual School House Chat today, Monday, February 26th at 10am, focusing on substance abuse. A representative from the FCPS substance abuse office will share information and resources to help families address this critical topic. Zoom link for the virtual School House Chat was posted in last week's Wednesday folder along with the link to submit any questions you may have for our presenter. See you virtually at 10am this morning.
Week of Love was a success!
Thank you to our PTA for organizing our 2nd annual Week of Love. Students and staff appreciated the way we were able to focus on the kind and caring things we have done for others and what others have done for us. Thank you Mrs. Creagh for taking the lead on this community event.
Spelling Bee
We held our annual Spelling Bee on Thursday, February 15th. We are very proud of the 34 students who signed up to participate in the Spelling Bee. Thank you Mr. Bhavin Dave for organizing this event for our school. We appreciate all the parent volunteers who helped with set up and clean up of the event.

- Understand excused vs. unexcused absences:

Excused: Illness, doctor/dentist appointments

Unexcused Locally: Vacations, personal commitments, non-illness/appointment related reasons
- Late drop-off procedures:
- Inform teacher and school attendance via email beforehand
- Sign your child in at the front office
- Early pick-up procedures:
- Email teacher and school attendance beforehand
- Bring photo ID and ensure the person picking up is on the emergency contact list
- Avoid pickups after 3:45pm
