Mock ACT Test (March 2, 2024)
The McLean PTSA is partnering with EC Tutoring to offer the ACT practice test. The mock ACT test will be available to students on March 2, 2024 at 9:00 am. The registration fee is $20 per test. To register, click here. Please note that registration closes tonight at 11:59pm.
*** Please remember to identify yourself as a McLean High School student on the registration form to ensure that the PTSA receives credit; the fees support our programs.
After completing the mock ACT test, students will also be eligible to register for a free score report review. Click here to register for the review.
In addition, EC Tutoring is also hosting a webinar titled "Digital SAT vs ACT: Which Test is Best in a Test-Optional Environment" on March 4, 2024 at 7pm. Click here to register for the webinar.

Friday Breakfast Station
The PTSA organizes a weekly Friday Breakfast Station during the year stocked with contributions by fellow McLean HS families. The Friday Breakfast Station is set up in the front office and teachers & staff are grateful each week for your donations. PTSA Appreciates MHS Bus Drivers!
Last week, the PTSA and McLean High School honored the FCPS Bus Drivers that work with McLean High School during Bus Driver Appreciation Week. McLean High School gifted lunch bags filled with goodies provided by the PTSA. The PTSA, through the Hospitality Committee, supports staff throughout the year by planning appreciation events such as these goodies. Thank you to the Bus Drivers of McLean HS for all that you do for our school!

Helping the Environment and Raising Fund
Lighthouse Schools Parent Meeting - 3/13 & 3/14
We are excited to share that McLean High School has been selected as a Lighthouse School in FCPS. As one of seven FCPS secondary schools, this designation gives us the opportunity to reimagine the school experience for our students and community at large. As such, we are looking for input from our families to gain insight into the current experience of our community and solicit ideas for innovative improvements. Therefore, we cordially invite our families to attend a town hall on this topic. We will host a parent coffee on March 13th from 8:30-9:30a.m. and an evening meeting on March 14th PTSA meeting from 6:30-7:30p.m. We’d love to see you at either of these meeting options to discuss your feedback and ideas. Questions to be discussed include:

How is our school system currently serving you and your family?

What needs does our district currently fail to meet that you believe it should be meeting?

What resources do you believe could be reallocated for other purposes?

Volunteer Opportunity - Class of 2024
All Night Graduation Party
Greetings families!! We are currently preparing for the Class of 2024 All Night Graduation Party (ANGP). The ANGP provides a safe, alcohol-free and drug-free evening for our Seniors to celebrate after their high school graduation. Every year our students look forward to the ANGP, which is an amazing, fun-filled event where they can spend one last time making memories with their classmates and enjoy a variety of entertainment, games, great food, prizes, and much more.
We are currently starting the planning for the Class of 2024 ANGP and are looking for parent volunteers to serve on the steering committee and party sub-committees.
The roles we are looking for include the following:
