Happy Friday, Fox Mill Family,

We hope you had a wonderful week.  Our sixth-grade talent show gets underway at 7 pm this evening. Our students got a sneak peak of some of the performances today, and we can’t wait to showcase our talent to our families. See you all in the cafeteria at 7pm tonight, for another fun filled PTA sponsored activity.

PTA Corner

Thank you to the 2nd Grade families for a great teacher breakfast this morning!  As a reminder, the sixth-grade talent show tonight is a free event, so bring the whole family and support our hardworking 6th grade students!

Looking ahead to next week, we have a Chick-Fil-A D4$ event on Wednesday 2/28 from 4:00 to 9:00.  Just mention Fox Mill Elementary School when ordering and support the PTA.  Also, be on the lookout for our March calendar in your student's Thursday folder, we have a lot of fun events coming up!  Curious what those events are and don't want to wait until Thursday?  You can always visit our website at foxmillpta.com to view our calendar right on the homepage!  While there, check out our volunteer page for opportunities to get involved.  One need we have is for volunteers to help deliver food from the Food Recovery Program to a local homeless shelter.  If you are able to help out please sign up here.

FCPS is partnering with independent research firm K12 Insight to administer a Family Engagement Survey, which will be open from Sunday, March 3, to Friday, March 22. The survey will be available in English, Amharic, Arabic, Chinese, Farsi, Korean, Pashto, Spanish, Urdu, and Vietnamese. Parents/caregivers will receive the survey link via email from K12 Insight. Share Your Thoughts on Schoology

FCPS will be conducting voluntary, anonymous surveys on the use of Schoology from Monday, March 11, to Friday, March 22. Surveys will be delivered to:

Elementary students (grades 3-6) through the Schoology App Center. Student feedback will inform the school division’s use of Schoology and help improve its processes, communication, and professional learning for staff.
