Hello RCMS Families!
The Family Fun Run Planning Committee is still looking for volunteers. We plan on this being a super fun RCMS community event and an integral part of our fundraising efforts to support the 8th Grade Graduation Party. We are committed to fully funding the graduation party and ensuring it is accessible to all 8th graders. Click here to sign up! Fundraiser Spirit Night at Noodles Company
 Thursday, February 29, 4-8 PM
Take a night off from cooking dinner and join us at Noodles Company at 2405 Centreville Rd, Herndon Va to show your school spirit! Show the Attached Flyer at checkout to make sure RCMS PTA is credited with the sale.
In addition to in-restaurant sales, we are now opening up our fundraisers to online sales as well. For online and Noodles Rewards app orders, guests can apply the coupon code, “GIVING25” in the Coupon Code line at checkout. Ordering online is quick and easy and allows guests to skip the line by grabbing their meal at our Quick Pick-Up station or where pick-up windows are present. Please make sure you are signed into your rewards account to use this code, if you are not already a member, please sign up! This is a great option for guests who prefer to dine at home or on the go but still want to support our organization.

2023-2024 Rachel Carson Reflections Contest Winners
Music Composition Category Winner: 8th Grader, Heidi H with her musical piece, “Hopes and Highs”. Heidi also won at the Regional Level and will go on to represent Carson at the State Level! Congrats!
Visual Arts Category Winner: 7th Grader, Ushi S, with her visual art piece, “Blossom of Resilience”

Basketball Game! 🏀
Basketball Game with Langston Hughes Middle School on Thursday, March 14th at South Lakes High School. We will have Spirit wear and pizza, snacks, and beverage concessions sales at the game.
5pm Doors open; 5:40pm First Game Begins
Pre-sale tickets for $8 will be available next month for purchase.
Tickets will be $10 CASH ONLY at the door on the evening of the event.

We will also have another game with Stone Middle School on Thursday, March 21st at Westfield High School. Doors open at 5:00 pm and Games start at 6:00 pm.
