A Message from the Principal, Dr. Jemison
Dear Fort Belvoir Primary Families,
I am thrilled to share with you the wonderful events that unfolded last week at our school as our students came together to celebrate Friendship Day in lieu of Valentine’s Day.
The atmosphere throughout the building was filled with positivity and warmth as our students engaged in random acts of kindness. It was heartwarming to witness the genuine care and support they extended towards one another. Small gestures, such as writing kind words and celebrating each other’s accomplishments, created a sense of unity and camaraderie within our school community.
We are truly fortunate to have such a strong and compassionate community at Fort Belvoir Primary. The spirit of friendship and collaboration among our students is a testament to the values we strive to instill in them. As educators and parents, it is incredibly rewarding to see our children embrace the importance of kindness and appreciation for each other.
Let’s continue to foster this sense of community and encourage our students to carry these values forward. By nurturing friendships and supporting one another, we contribute to the creation of a positive and inclusive learning environment that will undoubtedly benefit our children in their academic and personal growth.
Together we are always and will be Fort Belvoir strong!
In partnership,
Dr. LaZedrick (Zed) Jemison, Principal

PTO Glow Dance
Everyone had an incredible time at the Glow dance, surrounded by the vibrant energy of families dancing and enjoying themselves. Witnessing the joyous atmosphere and the unity of everyone coming together was truly heartwarming. A special shout-out of gratitude goes to our outstanding Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) for orchestrating this fantastic family night. Their dedication and hard work made the event a memorable experience for all, creating lasting memories of laughter, dance, and pure enjoyment. We also want to thank the staff members for supporting this event.
