Exciting News this Week!!!
Hayfield has signed a contract with Nike to become and official Nike School. All of our teams will be transitioning to Nike uniforms and equipment.

Hayfield Secondary School is excited to announce the hiring of Darryl Overton as it's next Head Football Coach. Coach Overton comes to Hayfield after serving as the Head Football Coach at Freedom-Woodbridge. Coach amassed a 91-17 record in 9 seasons. He helped win 5 district championships, 3 regional championships, 1 state runner-up, and 2 State Championships(2022 & 2023). Coach has been awarded the VHSL Class 6 State Coach of the year for the last 2 seasons. While Coach Overton has accomplished a ton on the field, we are most excited about the contributions he will bring to our student-athletes off the football field. Coach cares deeply about molding our students in a positive way. We look forward to the contributions he will provide our community.

Ethan Osburn dominated the competition at the VHSL Class 6 State Wrestling tournament this weekend.
He claimed the 190lb State Championship with an exciting pin in the finals.

Hayfield Secondary School is introducing the Hayfield Secondary Athletic Hall of Fame. A Hall of Fame committee has been selected and the 1st Hall of Fame Class will be inducted during the Fall of 2024.

Winter Track - The Boys finished 2nd place at the Regional Championship. We have the following students qualified from the boys and girls into the State Championship.

The 2024 Hayfield Secondary Craft Fair & Silent Auction is being coordinated through the Class of 2024 All Night Graduation Party (ANGP) Committee. Along with being sponsored by our PTSA, the ANGP is a state of Virginia & Fairfax County Public Schools supported event. The ANGP committee’s purpose is to provide our Class of 2024 graduates with an all-night, SAFE, alcohol/drug/smoke-free celebration at The St. James center in Springfield, VA. Along with many other fundraising activities, this is one of our biggest events and all proceeds we receive will go a long way in helping reduce the ticket cost for our graduates and their families.

All Night Grad Party - is seeking donations for our silent auction at the Craft Fair on March 16, 2024.
We’re seeking gift certificates for food, services, and other purchases; passes to events or activities (i.e., rounds of golf, sporting events, amusements, etc.); merchandise or gift baskets; and anything else you can think of that people would like to bid on and win. We also welcome cash donations in lieu of a donation to the auction.
