Math-STEM Fun Night
Sponsored by Mathnasium & HMS PTA
Herndon Middle School will be hosting the first ever Math-STEM Fun Night tomorrow, February 15th from 6pm to 8pm in the Cafeteria. We will have Robotics Team demonstrations & Math-STEM hands-on activities led by Herndon High Students! We will have several prizes including Chick-Fil-A baskets, Herndon Merch, Free Baskin Robbins Cones and much more! The first 150 students receive a goodybag.
Parents/Guardians are encouraged to stay however drop off is allowed. Please enter through Door #6 located in the back of the school.
Pre-Registration is required to save your spot!
Special Guests: Herndon High School Robotics Team, Abacus Team, The First Chesapeake, and NOVALabs.

Movie Night
Join us for a fun Movie Night on Friday, February 23rd at 6:00pm. This is a Herndon Middle School student event ONLY. Doors will open at 5:30pm and Pre-Registration is required. In-person Student Registration will be offered during lunches on Fridays: 2/9 and 2/16.
Concessions will be sold at the door: Snacks and Drinks ONLY. Pizza will be pre-ordered ONLY

Supplemental Materials Review Committee
Are you interested in reading/reviewing a book or two during the next several months? Herndon Middle School is looking to form a supplemental materials review committee to review and approve books for classroom use. The committee is made up of the school principal, two parents, and two teachers. You will be provided with the book and the form that explains how the book will be used in the classroom. In return, the parent reads and/or reviews the book to provide approval.
