Ms. Hestmark announced as FCPS Outstanding Elementary Teacher for Region 6

Dear CES friends and families:

Earlier today, we were honored to announce that Columbia Elementary School 2^nd Grade Teacher, Ms. Shea Hestmark has been recognized as the 2023-2024 FCPS Outstanding Teacher for Region 6!

As a result of this recognition, Ms. Hestmark is now a finalist for the FCPS Teacher of the Year award that will be announced later this spring.

We will be rooting for Ms. Hestmark as she represents this wonderful Columbia community, the Annandale pyramid of schools, and all of Region 6 at the FCPS Honors awards ceremony.

Please join me in congratulating Ms. Hestmark!
