100th Day of School
On Thursday, February 8th, Key Center observed the 100th Day of School. Using a picture of Key Center’s staff and students, a poster-sized 100 piece puzzle was created. Each class received a supply of the puzzle pieces. The students worked together to build the ‘100 Days Together at Key Center’ puzzle. Great teamwork all!
Transition Planning, The Younger Years: Future Planning for Elementary and Middle School Students in Special Education
Join Career and Transition Services (CTS) to learn about planning for life in and after high school! It’s never too early or too late to start preparing for your future. We want to help you start planning for a successful transition from school to life as a young adult.
Ensuring the postsecondary success of our students with disabilities is dependent on what is known as transition planning. Please join CTS and other support service personnel for an evening focused on planning for the future.
This event also includes a student/parent panel where members describe their firsthand experiences as they navigated Fairfax County Public Schools and planned for their child’s future. A question/answer session will follow.
February 21, 2024 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
