CELEBRATE GREAT FALLS AUCTION
The annual online Celebrate Great Falls Auction is coming up and will be held from March 11-22! Proceeds from the auction will directly benefit Great Falls Elementary, Colvin Run Elementary, and Forestville Elementary to support technology, arts, music, mindfulness, and more in the classrooms!
If you have a service, item or experience you would be willing to donate to the auction, please contact GFES PTA Parent Volunteer, Hana Kong at hanabkong@gmail.com!
Girls on the Run Registration Now Open!
Girls on the Run (GOTR) registration is also now open for the spring season! GOTR is a running program for girls grades 3rd through 6th, which teaches girls to be strong, healthy and confident. The GOTR season begins on March 5th. Practice will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the GFES track from 7:30 AM - 8:30 AM.

LET ME RUN Is Back for Spring 2024!
ATTENTION boys grades 3rd through 6th: LET ME RUN, the new and awesome boys running program, is back for spring season! The season begins on March 11th. Practice will be on Mondays and Wednesdays at the GFES track from 7:30 AM - 8:30 AM.

Bus Driver Appreciation NEXT WEEK:
February 19th-23rd
We are so thankful for the wonderful team of drivers that safely shuttle our children to and from school each day! Let’s show each Bus Driver how much they are appreciated! Please have your students write a card or note to their driver to thank them for all they do. Students can also create signs to hold up and/or hang at the bus stop next week!

Skate Night was a BLAST!

February 19, Kids Service Day
Looking for a service day opportunity when FCPS is out of school on February 19th? Kids Give Back, a Fairfax-based nonprofit that provides volunteer opportunities for children ages 6-12, is partnering with Christ the King Lutheran Church to offer a service day on February 19th. Volunteer projects include:
- Preparing Snack Packs for food-insecure families
- Making craft kits for Upside Down Moments, and more!
