📚Read Across America Week
Mosaic’s annual Read Across America celebration is coming soon! We will Celebrate a Nation of Diverse Readers the week of February 26 through March 1. Students are encouraged to dress for the following spirit days:
Monday: Pajama Day (No slippers, please!)
Tuesday: Neon Day (The brighter the better!)
Wednesday: Sports Day (Rep your team with their colors or a jersey!)
Thursday: Extra Day (Dress extra fancy, or wear extra clothes/accessories!)
Friday: Book Character Day (Dress up as your favorite character!)

Thursday, February 22: Restaurant Night, Noodles & Company, 10296 Main Street, Fairfax, 4:00 - 8:00 P.M.
Join us in-person or on-line/pick-up for our next Restaurant Night. For online and Noodles Rewards app orders, apply coupon code GIVING25 at checkout. For in-person orders, mention that you are with the fundraiser for Mosaic before placing your order. A generous 25% of the proceeds from our families' orders will go directly back to our PTA!
Friday, February 23: Movie Night, 5:30 - 8:00 P.M., Mosaic Cafeteria
Buy your tickets now for our next Movie Night! Admission is $7 for movie & food (cheese pizza, juice, popcorn, and treat) or $2 for just the movie. All proceeds will help support future PTA expenses like Classroom Supply Funds and Field Trip Transportation.
Saturday, March 2: Mosaic's Night on the Ice, 6:15 - 8:15 P.M., Fairfax Ice Arena, 3779 Pickett Road, Fairfax
Mosaic ES has reserved a night of ice skating just for us - at a discounted rate! You'll pay $5.50/person at the door (plus $4 for skate rentals/person). Hot cocoa will be free while supplies last! Snacks being sold that night will support the PTA. The ice rink will open for us at 6:45 P.M., so please arrive as early as 6:15 P.M. to prepare for a night on the ice with friends! Please RSVP to help us prepare for the event:
🏫2024-2025 Kindergarten Registration
Kindergarten Registration for the 2024-2025 school year is now open! If you have a child that will turn five by September 30, 2024, please fill out the new student registration intake form. Your form will be submitted to the registrar, Jenny Davisson, who will assist you with the next steps in the registration process. You are also welcome to stop by the office to pick up a registration packet or download the registration bundle. Please share with your neighbors as well! Please note – online registration for 2024-2025 should open on April 4th.
The Kindergarten Orientation will be on Tuesday, April 2nd at 2:30 in our cafeteria. Dr. Aste will provide an overview of the Kindergarten program. You are invited to bring your rising kindergartners with you as they will have an opportunity to play in a kindergarten classroom while you are enjoying the presentation. We will also have staff available if you wish to complete your registration after the presentation.
