Dear Poplar Tree Families,
It was another busy week filled with excitement and learning. Today is the Lunar New Year. As we bid farewell to the year of the water rabbit and welcome the Year of the wood dragon, we want to take this opportunity to wish everyone in our community a joyous and prosperous Lunar New Year! The dragon represents power, nobility, and good luck. Good luck in the year ahead and may your year be filled with abundance of smiles and laughter.

Calling All Picture-Perfect Moments!

Chantilly Pyramid
Substance Abuse Prevention
On February 15th, Chantilly Pyramid Substance Abuse Prevention Specialist, Stacey King, will be discussing the harms of tobacco and vaping among our teens. Chantilly PTSA is hosting this speaking engagement which will take place in the school library at 6:30 p.m. Light refreshments will be provided!

🍕 MOD PIZZA Spirit Night 🍕

Mark your calendars!! Come grab dinner and have some fun at at MOD Pizza on Thursday, February 29th. A portion of the proceeds on this day will go to the Poplar Tree PTA. Make sure to mention that you are there for the Poplar Tree Fundraiser and/or bring the paper that will be sent home in your child's Friday Folder. If life is too busy to come in person, but you want to order online, you can use fundraiser code MODGIVES20 for all online orders!

Acts will be limited to 2 minutes each. All interested participants, please complete THIS FORM.

After school Chess Club is continuing on during the Spring Semester. We had busy Fall and hope to see familiar and new face next month! Registration is open https://chessctr.org/poplartree/ from now until Feb 9, with the first Semester Semester meeting on Friday Feb 2.
